More than 40 years of vehicle leasing in Austria
The Porsche Bank story began in 1966. On the 6th of march the Porsche Konstruktionen KG set a new milestone by offering leasing, a new means of car financing in Austria.
In 1974 the leasing department was outsourced to the new company "Allgemeine Leasing-Zentrale Ges.m.b.H.".
1987: Foundation of Porsche Bank AG and its subsidiary Porsche Versicherungs AG.
1997: ARAC Autovermietung Ges.m.b.H. becomes a subsidiary of Porsche Bank AG. Since
1.1.2003 ARAC is a Europcar licensee.
